RIGHTS OF WAY AND EASEMENTS

     Rights of way and easements across Arkansas Riverbed lands are governed by 25 CFR 169 

     The process of gaining an easement requires an application, an appraisal of the subject property,       and an environmental assessment.

     The environmental regulations and requirements are set out in NEPA, found at              http://www.gc.energy.gov/NEPA/766.htm.

 Appraisers engaged by applicants are encouraged to contact the Office of Appraisal Services, 421 West Broadway, Muskogee, by telephone at 918-687-2308.  

     Applicants are encouraged to contact the Arkansas Riverbed Authority.
